Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SnapDone, a memory companion app that helps you capture and recall life's details. By creating an account or using SnapDone, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

SnapDone is operated by SnapDone Inc. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean SnapDone Inc. References to "you" mean the person using the app.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use SnapDone. Users under 18 should have parental consent.

SnapDone is designed to help you remember what matters. You can capture photos, screenshots, voice notes, and text — and our AI companion PIP will organize them and bring them back at the right time.

When using SnapDone, you agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Use the service for spam, fraud, or unauthorized commercial activity
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the service
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized users

SnapDone offers the following plans:

• Free — 30 memories per month with basic SnapBack
• Premium ($9.99/month or $99/year) — Unlimited memories, Smart SnapBack, contextual recall
• Household ($19.99/month or $199/year) — Everything in Premium, plus sharing for up to 3 people
• Household Plus ($29.99/month or $299/year) — Up to 6 people, grandparents included

Payments are processed securely through Stripe or the Apple App Store, depending on how you subscribe. SnapDone does not store your full payment card information.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device settings (for App Store subscriptions) or your Stripe billing portal (for web subscriptions).

You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months unless required by law.

We will never delete your memories because your subscription changes. This is fundamental to SnapDone's Memory Continuity principle.

If you downgrade from a paid plan to Free, you keep all your stored memories. What changes is the intelligence layer — advanced SnapBack, contextual recall, and unlimited new captures require a paid subscription. Your existing data stays exactly where you left it.

If you delete your account, we will remove your memories from our servers. You can export your data before deletion by contacting us.

SnapDone uses artificial intelligence to process your captures and generate actions, reminders, and contextual SnapBacks. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated actions before relying on them for important decisions.

Household plans let you share memories, reminders, and lists with family members. The household creator is responsible for managing membership. When you leave a household, shared content remains accessible to the remaining members. Your private (non-shared) memories always stay with you.

SnapDone is currently in beta through our Founding Families program. During this period:

• The service is provided "as is" and may contain bugs or experience downtime
• Features may change as we learn from feedback
• Beta users may receive direct support and influence the product roadmap
• We make every effort to protect your data, but beta software carries inherent risk

Your memories are backed up and we take data integrity seriously, even in beta. If you encounter issues, you'll have direct access to our team.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnapDone Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

SnapDone is a memory aid, not a replacement for professional judgment. Do not rely on SnapDone for medical reminders, legal deadlines, or safety-critical information without independent verification.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
