Welcome to SnapDone. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how SnapDone collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

By using SnapDone, you agree to the practices described below.

Information You Provide

When you create an account, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Profile information
• Household name (if you create or join a household)

Information Created While Using SnapDone

SnapDone stores information necessary to provide its services, including:

• Photos you intentionally capture through the app
• AI-generated action items
• Reminder titles, dates, and times
• Categories and priority selections
• Completion status and action history
• Household assignments and read receipts

SnapDone only processes content you intentionally submit.

Device Information

We may collect limited technical information such as:

• Device type
• Operating system version
• App version
• Anonymous diagnostic logs
• Crash reports

We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics and crash reporting. This helps us understand how people use SnapDone so we can improve it. No personal content, photos, or memory data is sent to analytics services.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process AI-generated reminders
• Deliver notifications and reminders
• Synchronize your data across devices
• Enable household sharing features
• Improve application performance
• Detect fraud and abuse
• Provide customer support

We do not sell your personal information.

SnapDone uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos and convert them into actionable reminders. Images are processed only to generate the actions you request.

AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate. Users are responsible for reviewing reminders before relying on them.

SnapDone works with a small number of trusted service providers to deliver its features. These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their specific function:

• OpenAI — processes images and text to generate reminders. Your photos and captured content are sent to OpenAI's API for analysis. OpenAI does not use your data to train its models.
• Stripe — processes payments for premium subscriptions. SnapDone does not store your full payment card details on our servers.
• Neon — provides secure database hosting for your account information and stored memories.

We do not sell your data to any third party, and we carefully select providers who meet our security and privacy standards.

If you choose to create or join a household, members may be able to view shared reminders, assigned tasks, read receipts, and completion status. Only household members can access shared household content.

SnapDone sends notifications you choose to enable, including reminder alerts, shared household assignments, and action updates. Notification preferences can be managed within your device settings.

SnapDone may offer optional premium subscriptions. Payments are securely processed through Apple App Store or Stripe. SnapDone does not store your full payment card information.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days. You may request a copy of your data before deletion by contacting us at hello@snapdoneapp.com.

Memories you capture are yours. A subscription change or cancellation never deletes the memories you entrusted to SnapDone.

You may:

• Update your account information
• Delete reminders
• Leave a household
• Disable notifications
• Request an export of your data
• Request deletion of your account

SnapDone is not intended for children under 13 without parental supervision. Parents or guardians are responsible for managing household accounts involving minors.

SnapDone complies with applicable data protection laws. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights:

• EEA and UK residents — Under the GDPR, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and export your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@snapdoneapp.com.
• California residents — Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. SnapDone does not sell personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by updating the Effective Date above.
